The Word of Faith Bible Institute is the training arm of the Living Faith (Winners Chapel) Church Worldwide. It was established on September 1, 1986, some 37 years ago in fulfillment of the mandate God gave his Servant, Bishop David Oyedepo who is the President of the institute on May 11, 1983, when God told him, “I will through this ministry raise the foundations of many other ministries”

The anchor scripture given to His servant at the onset of the institute is Genesis 14:14. “And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed His trained servants born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them into Dan”

The institute is a spiritual training school where kingdom soldiers are trained and made.

So far, hundreds of thousands have passed through WOFBI in Nigeria and beyond, and in our training centers all over our entire church network in Africa, America, and Europe.

Among the grandaunts are men and women in the Ministry, Armed Forces, Managers and Directors of organizations, Career men and women, Business men and women, Professionals, Skilled and Unskilled Workers. The program is well arranged and packaged to accommodate everyone from all walks of life, background and status.

Our task is to liberate the entire world from all forms of oppression’s of the enemy through the teaching and preaching of the Word of Faith, schooling men to exploits in life and releasing men and women to their full potentials for the benefit of all mankind.

God gave the Presiding Bishop of this Commission, Bishop David Oyedepo this mandate after an eighteen-hour vision. God told him:

“The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the Word of Faith, and I am sending you to undertake this task.”

Today, testimonies of liberation as a result of our messages, books, tapes, magazines and other periodicals are most humbling. We have diverse proofs to date that the task is enjoying tremendous success by the grace of God, through testimonies of dramatic changes and improvements in the quality of life of the people, every where these churches are represented.

The Annual Prayer and Fasting is an event held annually by Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel International. The event is held in the first month of the year and typically lasts for 21 days. During the prayer and fasting period, believers are encouraged to set aside time each day for intense prayer, fasting, and Bible study. The goal of the prayer and fasting is to seek God’s face and direction for the year ahead and to seek His power and grace to overcome challenges and achieve victory in all areas of life. The prayer and fasting is typically accompanied by daily teachings from Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, and other leaders of the church.
Enter the realm of trusting God, because it is the realm of continuous triumphs. I don’t have needs because I am trusting Him; my trust is not in the congregation I pastor, as I don’t do my planning based on the members of the congregation I plan based on my knowledge of God.
